   Just back from honeymoon and catching up (& still pinching myself!). It all went great the balance was perfect and when you played ‘Rockin Robin’ and my two little girls were bopping away my heart almost exploded – great choice! Everyone had an absolute hoot and it was just perfect. One of my brothers spent most of the night dancing his pants off and once again my heart almost exploded. THANKS!

• Disco Wed Dos and Don’ts

  DO!

  • Mix cool, credible party music that the couple and their guests want to hear.
  • Use a first class, industry standard set-up which sounds great.
  • Make sure everything looks neat and tidy, including ourselves!
  • Have technical prowess and mixing ability.
  • Be friendly, relaxed, polite and fun.

   

  DON’T!

  • Talk over all the songs and make bad jokes all night.
  • Play songs in a random order with big gaps between them.
  • Leer at or be rude to the guests.
  • Use horrible tacky lighting and an awful sound system.
  • Play anything with a dance routine*
